Our Story

A service born from friends' love of the sea

Our story begins with a group of friends who owned a traditional Norwegian fishing trawler named Vinga I. Later, the boat was replaced with a more comfortable wooden vessel, and Ab Vinga Oy began offering cruises in the Helsinki archipelago.

The boat is maintained as a hobby, and we actively sail along the coast. We want to share this joy with others — whether it's a work team, friends, or a family.

We've organised trips not only for those who enjoy the archipelago, but also for fishermen, open-water swimmers, and photography groups. The possibilities are endless!

Why a boat trip?

An escape from everyday life that brings people together

Sea air, the sound of waves, and archipelago scenery create a unique setting for togetherness and relaxation.

1

Building team spirit

Shared time at sea without distractions opens up conversations and strengthens relationships between colleagues naturally.

2

Sparking creativity

A new environment and fresh sea air make room for new ideas. Perfect as a relaxed part of a strategy day or an ideation session.

3

Genuine relaxation

The lapping of waves, archipelago scenery, and the gentle rocking of the boat provide effective relaxation — an escape that feels like a real holiday.

4

Flexible programme

The route and schedule are planned according to your wishes. You can combine island walks, barbecuing, a restaurant dinner, or sauna.

"Are you looking for relaxed time together, a fresh perspective, or a little break from the working week?"
A boat trip in the Helsinki archipelago offers just that.
